Some (Random) Drawings

I love science fiction. Love it. Alien life-forms, sentient robots, spaceships, huge Ideas with that earned capital I.

The first of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation books introduced us to the planet-city Trantor. This is a pen sketch that I did imagining a panorama of part of this world:

I also love computer history, so combining that interest with AI robots would be natural for me. This drawing is of one of these evolved bots working on a diorama at the local Positronic History Museum regarding Homo Sapiens:

I enjoy reading the theories of Richard Hoagland who is famous for his “Face on Mars” speculations. I do not agree with his interpretations of NASA’s data, but I like to imagine a world where things like ancient Martian canals existed and that someday we’ll come across their ruins in the shifting red sand. This is from a small sketchbook I carry with me:

They built this only to surrender to rust.
